In 1921, the British decreased the size of the Jewish national home, and to remove from it Transjordan, amounting to more than 2/3 the total area of the Palestinian Mandate.

 

In 1922, the British government published a White Paper on this subject. Later that year, the League of Nations approved the changed mandate, which took effect in 1923.
